Some interviews are exactly what you expect. Others take unexpected turns and leave you thinking long after the cameras stop rolling. My conversation with Mr. Man Bun Jesus (MBJ) definitely fell into the second category.
Known for his larger than life personality, long hair, and unmistakable look, MBJ has built a following through professional wrestling and social media. But recently, he’s become involved with Predator Poachers Long Island, joining Donnie Burgers and the team in confronting adults accused of attempting to meet minors for illegal purposes. What began as a casual conversation quickly became an eye opening discussion about internet safety, protecting children, and why these investigations matter.
Finding a New Mission
MBJ explained that he first discovered predator catching through videos online. Like many people, he found himself watching one investigation after another until he eventually connected with the Predator Poachers Long Island team. Before long, he wasn’t just watching anymore. He was helping.
One of his first experiences involved posing as part of a professional wrestling photoshoot to lure a suspect to a meeting location. While the suspect expected to photograph wrestlers, he was instead confronted with evidence gathered during the investigation. Looking back, MBJ laughed about wishing he had chased the suspect when he ran, but admitted the adrenaline and uncertainty of that first encounter caught him by surprise.
A Wrestling Career Full of Surprises
Long before becoming involved in predator catching, MBJ was making a name for himself in professional wrestling.
Growing up on Long Island, he eventually found opportunities that led him to work alongside recognizable names in the wrestling world. He shared stories about meeting EC3, traveling the country, performing comedy wrestling, and eventually working WWE events.
One of the highlights of the interview was hearing about his first WrestleMania appearance. Standing inside a packed stadium, walking through rehearsals with Triple H, and hearing the roar of tens of thousands of fans became one of those moments he’ll never forget. Since then, he’s appeared as WWE security, law enforcement, medical staff, and other television roles while sharing the ring with stars including Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Logan Paul.

Why He Keeps Coming Back
While wrestling remains a huge part of his life, MBJ said what keeps drawing him back to predator catching is something much bigger than creating videos.
After accompanying Donnie Burgers on multiple investigations, he realized the goal wasn’t internet fame or viral content. It was gathering evidence, working with law enforcement, and trying to prevent future victims.
That realization changed everything for him.
He described the work as helping make a difference and said that whenever he’s available, he’s ready to grab a camera and join the team.
A Conversation Every Parent Should Hear
The discussion eventually shifted away from wrestling and investigations toward something every parent can relate to.
We talked about children growing up with smartphones, social media, and constant internet access.
MBJ shared stories of friends who experienced dangerous encounters as children, along with a personal story from his own childhood involving a stranger attempting to lure him over while he was alone outside his elementary school. Looking back, he credits his mother’s constant reminders about stranger danger for giving him the confidence to walk away from the situation.
His message was simple.
Parents shouldn’t be afraid to know who their children are talking to online. Conversations about internet safety may not always be comfortable, but they’re necessary.
As technology continues to evolve, many dangers now exist behind screens instead of on street corners. That reality makes communication between parents and children more important than ever.
More Than Just Entertainment
Although the interview includes plenty of laughs, wrestling stories, and memorable moments, the biggest takeaway wasn’t about WWE or viral videos.
It was about awareness.
