Some shoots just feel special from the start, and this was one of them. Sometime back in May 2022, my good friend Cody, who is the Sr. Communications Manager at Chevrolet, brought out something truly iconic for me to drive and photograph: the eighth generation (C8) Corvette.

When Chevrolet introduced the C8 in 2019, it represented a bold evolution for an American classic, the first ever mid engine Corvette. It was a complete reimagining of what the Corvette could be: sharper lines, aggressive aerodynamics, and a naturally aspirated LT2 V8 engine that sits right behind the driver. It is a car that blurs the line between precision engineering and art, unmistakably modern yet still rooted in Corvette heritage.

We took it out to Ocean Parkway, one of my favorite roads on Long Island. The sun was out, the ocean breeze was perfect, and the stretch of asphalt gave us everything we needed for some rolling shots. The way the C8 moved, low, wide, and composed, was pure confidence on wheels.

Before wrapping up, I had to park it next to my 1955 Chevy Pickup, two generations of Chevrolet craftsmanship nearly seven decades apart. Seeing them side by side was a reminder of how far the brand has come and how each era carries its own kind of beauty and soul.

I am incredibly grateful to Chevrolet and General Motors for trusting me over the years and continuing to include me in opportunities like this. It is a privilege to capture their legacy through my lens, from the timeless classics to the groundbreaking innovations that continue to push things forward.
