Every so often, life offers up moments that feel like a cosmic alignment—a perfect blending of passions, history, and artistry. That’s exactly what happened when I had the chance to collaborate with my childhood friend, Roi, on a Wolford campaign. It was a “when worlds collide” experience in every sense of the phrase.
Our adventure began on Long Island, where we set out to find a quiet slice of beach for the swim portion of the campaign. The setting was pristine, with soft sands, gentle waves, and just the right amount of breeze to add movement to the shots. The location felt like an extension of our creative vision—a place where natural beauty could seamlessly amplify the elegance and versatility of Wolford’s swimwear line.
Working with Roi wasn’t just nostalgic; it was energizing. Being part of his production team turned what could have been an ordinary workday into an effortlessly fun and inspiring collaboration. Roi has this unique ability to foster an environment where everyone feels both valued and focused. That synergy was palpable as we all locked into the same creative rhythm, letting our ideas flow freely and building off each other’s energy.
